Biography 
Mrs. Ferguson has defended more than 300 employment cases against employers and has tried six such cases to jury verdict. She has also handled several important disciplinary appeals for departments of Los Angeles County and has conducted personnel investigations on sensitive issues for public and private clients. She has also represented various public and private clients in numerous cases involving a wide range of potential local liability. Mrs. Ferguson has obtained dismissals by way of summary judgment or waiver of costs on several cases and has obtained fee awards on three cases.

Representative cases
  • Mrs. Ferguson obtained a defense verdict in a sexual harassment case brought by a female lieutenant in the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department who claimed that a commander in the Department subjected her to unwanted romantic attention. Mrs. Ferguson proved that the lieutenant welcomed the commander's attentions. Walton v. Fennell, L.A. Superior Court Case No. BC500894.
